Last time I was filling out application forms for a summer job online, I was impressed to find out that after filling out a few, some smarmy little e-function would automatically detect where I was being asked for my address/school subjects/phone numbers etc. I never asked for thie data to be stored so it's probably an invasion of privacy in some way or another, but I'm extremely lazy so it didn't bother me too much.

Now I just started a new application, input my e-mail address, and voila, all my details are waiting for me on the next page, with no prompting from me. But here's the kicker. I'm not actually on my computer, I'm on a PC in the library. Very creepy.
